the only reason this post has a title is because it requires me to have one...

right well, as usual i will simply run through everything since i last posted (it's been a little while, which means it should be relatively short as i will have forgotten most things)!

to be fair, i have no idea what happened during the latter half of the previous friday, so i won't say anything. Then on the Saturday, a small bout of shopping ensued looking for revision books, mountboard, towels and fruit...I hope I find somewhere which sells rambutan soon :( I may also need to replenish some of my art supplies due to a minor discrepancy involving borrowing - if they've run out I really wouldn't care, but it would be good to let me know, don't you think?!

Saturday night involved some meeting type shenanigans, which let me to be nominated secretary for our mixed hockey club...little do they know that my memory only stretches so very near and I am partial to a little executive dysfunction...I'm sure I can manage; though I may have to rearrange one or two things in order for me to know what the hell's going on. Food from then at an all-you-can-eat place, was quite good, though I dint manage to eat that much. We were also very almost asked to leave the premises due to noise disruption (odd that it had nothing to do with the nakedness, wouldn't you agree)?

I am not entirely sure of sunday, other than I was rapt by ebay for most of the evening. Deary me. Monday was a lucky escape from kareoke (not my lucky escape, just lucky to everyone else that I wasn't there to sing)...this was due to leaving from food pretty late. Tuesday and wednesday escaped my attention, so most likely nothing overly exciting happened (as ever).

We finally gave our poster presentation on thursday and got a merit for it - yay us! Thursday was also a day for more meetings and another evening for me to join a committee. It was time for gin bonding, as I had abandoned my fellow com-members with a prior engagement. It was also the start of my pizza fuelled weekend! From thurs night, pizza then followed on three consecutive days for lunch.

Saturday involved getting up at 8.30am and catching the train to Cambridge to see Kat - yay! :D
I met strangers who gave me gifts, and enjoyed a punt ride down the river before being 'baby-sat' by a complete stranger (to me at least) with a trip to the cinema to see 'The interpreter'. I quite enjoyed it, and ended up also watching Shrek2 and 'Swingers' - very peculiar in the comfort of someone else's room.

Sunday was a nice lazy day involving lunch, brief shopping and sitting around by the river (I believe I have a tan on my lower back - bit weird). One thing to make you chuckle is some random guy falling in to the river. It was then time for me to make the journey back here...But my train was delayed, and I felt awful all afternoon from then on. Had to change trains as, due to the delay, mine was not continuing past a certain point - grr! And the new train was shortly boarded by a bunch of loud football fans for the last, at least, 10/11 stops... :( Having not eaten for quite some time was really not helping matters.
The evening culminated with a visit to A&E, where I was made to go find food (and it was a good job I did, as otherwise I would have, no doubt, burst into tears pretty soon due to the horrid late afternoon/evening).

Yesterday and today have been relative nothingness other than college, lectures etc. And i think on that rather empty note I will leave to put some dinner on - am getting peckish and it might take a while to do.

Take care.

long ago

please excuse the crap post names...im just not feeling very imaginative when i write them so anything goes...

that tuesday was a pretty good night...went for tapas in spanish place then stopped up for a bit elsewhere from home. have been staying at nick's a lot lately; tis good, but exams are looming (mainly his)!

went to see hitchiker's guide to the galaxy, which i enjoyed (though apparently if you've read the books it's not as good)...should really read the books at some point; have been meaning to for a while.

x. the littlest puppy sadly passed over the course of the weekend, but there wasn't any more that could be done, so peace be with her. x

i spent a run of six nights over the course of the weekend, plus, not sleeping in my own bed! Half of them weren't spent in a bed at all, as was camping in a pretty damn good, non-leaking (compared with everyone else's) tent. Was a good weekend up in the lakes with the alpine club, despite a few people leaving early.

perhaps i should've been a little more active, but i did plenty and had a laugh. despite needing the loo more often than not. left monday afternoon, but did not reach our final destination til just before 2am... :( very tired!

havent really done much these past few days...just chillin i guess, oh, and going to lectures and college and stuff...joy

today i got up at a relatively reasonable hour, and am now wide awake (not that it will last long, mind). and have actually managed to run a few errands, so am reducing my to-do list (though i know many more will be added by the end of the day - isn't that always the way)?!

ok, well i think thats all for now. if i think of anything else, i'll let you know.
